Rethinking incarceration: UNODC

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) hosts Consultation on Treatment of Drug Use Disorders and Associated Mental Health Disorders in Prison Settings, with findings shared here: "Nearly twelve million people are currently in prison globally, an estimated increase of more than 25% since 2000, while 115 countries report prison overcrowding. UNODC supports member states in their efforts of addressing drug use disorders and associated mental health disorders in prison settings."
